Today, the treatment of deformities of the anterior abdominal wall occurs with the help of not only an aesthetic and functional task, but also often solving problems depending on gender, age, race and ethnicity. Proper determination of the shape and extent of damage to the soft tissues of the anterior abdominal wall is important for the choice of tactics and techniques of surgical treatment, and also provides technical advantages when performing simultaneous hernia repair. In this paper, we analyzed modern scientific literature and evaluated the methodologies of simultaneous surgical treatment of various pathologies of the soft tissues of the anterior abdominal wall, complications and the surgical aspect of the rehabilitation period. All specialists in the field of surgery can get a high functional and aesthetic result in the hands of specialists.
