Beginning of new millennium was designated by expansion of non-invasive esthetic surgery in Russian region. Use of dermal fillers for facial augmentation is now recognized as one of the most popular procedures. Emerging production technologies led to declining rates of some dermal fillers use complications. Meanwhile growing rates of facial fillers use made doctors encounter more adverse reactions. Present article describes possible complications of facial augmentation with hyaluronic acid dermal fillers, ways of diagnostics, treatment and prevention. Authors also share their own experience in esthetic medicine and hyaluronic acid fillers use.
