Abstract

Currently, increased life expectancy and prolonged period of social activity result advanced interest in preservation and correction of age-related skin changes. Subdermal implantation of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) filaments is a relatively young method among various techniques of aesthetic correction. The results of experimental study of morphological tissue changes after subdermal implantation of PLLA filaments are reported in the article.
