Literature review is devoted to surgical correction of breast deformity by the type of tubular breast. This pathology is the subject of surgical interest in view of manifestation of deformity and the absence of unified algorithm for the treatment. Modern diagnostic methods and advances in genetic analysis of collagen synthesis resulted better analysis of this pathology. Surgical correction is currently the main approach for this pathology. Dissatisfaction of surgeons and patients with the results of treatment motivates surgeons to find the most optimal method of treatment of tubular breast deformity and develop an actual algorithm considering the peculiarities of this pathology. The trials, case reports and observations of various authors devoted to surgical treatment of various types of congenital breast deformity by the type of tubular breast are analyzed in the article.
